App we use
Turn in work as
- 1
Open an app
Go to getcadcraft.com/use and pick the app your class uses. It runs in your browser: no download, no account.
- 2
Or install it on your own computer
Download CadCraft Studio, all eight apps in one install, from getcadcraft.com/download. It works offline.
- 3
Save your work as files
Save to your computer or a USB drive. Your drawings are ordinary files in open formats, and they are yours.
- 4
Get SuperCad Studio free
Apply at getcadcraft.com/education with your school email. A .edu address gets the license the moment you click the link we send.
SuperCad Studio, free while you're a student
The eight apps working as one ($250 for everyone else). Once a year we email you a one-click check, "Yep, still a student". After you graduate, the version you have keeps working; new versions come with a graduate license for $75, a price locked in the day you join.
Good habits
- Save often, and keep a copy of your files off the lab computer: a USB drive or your school drive.
- Your drawings are ordinary files in open formats. They are yours, during school and after.
- Working together in class? Your teacher may share a live drawing with Live TeamWork: join with the short code they read out, from CadCraft Studio or a browser, and every edit shows up for everyone.
- Stuck? Each app has step-by-step tutorials at getcadcraft.com/tutorials.
- Something not working? Tell your teacher, or report it at getcadcraft.com/support. These are early builds (version 0.8) and reports make them better.
