Read these before you install.

1. The Windows installers are not code-signed yet

   Code signing comes in a later release. Until then:

   • When an installer starts, Windows SmartScreen shows “Windows protected your PC”. Choose More info, then Run anyway. Some antivirus programs may also warn about an unsigned installer.
   • The publisher shows as unknown, not as CadCraft.
   • Check the SHA-256 first, and run the file only if it matches the value on this page or in SHA256SUMS.

   • Each app installs for your user only, with no administrator rights. Automatic updates are off: new versions come from this page.

2. One license exception: Python in PartCraft

   PartCraft runs Python scripts with Pyodide 314.0.7, which ships unmodified in its own folder, in PartCraft and inside CadCraft Studio. Pyodide is under the Mozilla Public License 2.0 (MPL-2.0), and the CPython 3.14.2 inside it under the PSF License. Their license texts are in THIRD_PARTY.md, which comes with the app. Everything else in CadCraft is Apache-2.0 or under a permissive license.

   Python scripts are not sandboxed the way PartCraft's own scripts are: run only Python scripts you trust.

3. Español (México) is a draft

   Every app offers Español (México) in Settings, under Language. The translation is machine-made and not yet reviewed by a native speaker. Anything not translated stays in English, and the help is in English.
