Everything you need to write about CadCraft accurately: a paragraph you can quote, the logo in both themes, our colors and the names of the apps. Nothing has shipped yet, so please do not describe any app as released or available to download.
About CadCraft
CadCraft is a family of eight open-source CAD and BIM apps, each named for the work it does: CadCraft for 2D drafting, BimCraft for BIM authoring, ModelCraft for 3D modeling, MarkupCraft for drawing review, TakeoffCraft for quantity takeoff, CivilCraft for civil and site design, DetailCraft for steel and rebar detailing, and PartCraft for parametric parts. The apps are planned as real desktop software for macOS, Windows and Linux, work offline on local files in open formats such as DWG, DXF and IFC, and can be driven by scripts and AI agents. Nothing has shipped yet; early access is open at getcadcraft.com.
Quote it as written, or shorten it, as long as it stays accurate.
Logo files
The paper files are dark line work for light backgrounds; the model files are light line work for dark backgrounds. Use the SVG wherever you can. The logo and mark PNGs have transparent backgrounds; the square icon brings its own.

The mark and the wordmark together. Use it wherever there is room.
Mark
The pickbox mark alone, for avatars, favicons and tight spaces.
Square icon (avatars, app icons)
The mark on a model-space background, cropped square. Use it for social avatars and app icons; platforms that round the corners can do so.
Using the logo
- Keep clear space around it at least the width of the mark's pickbox square.
- Do not stretch, rotate, outline, recolor or add effects to it. Use the paper or model file instead of making your own.
- Do not combine it with another company's logo in a way that suggests a partnership or endorsement.
Colors
The site has two themes named after the two halves of a CAD drawing: paper space (light, the plotted sheet) and model space (dark, the drafting canvas). Every app owns one layer color, used for its swatch and its concept drawings, and nowhere else.

Links and buttons use the blue layer color. The typeface is Archivo, set expanded and bold for headings.

Writing the names
- Each name is one word with two capitals: CadCraft, BimCraft, ModelCraft, MarkupCraft, TakeoffCraft, CivilCraft, DetailCraft, PartCraft. Not "Cad Craft", "CADCraft" or "Cadcraft".
- Say "apps" or "the lineup" for the family. The apps are open source and nothing has shipped yet; describe them as in development or planned, as listed above.
- Other companies' product names appear on our site only to say what a tool will feel familiar to. Please do not call any CadCraft app a version, edition or replacement of another company's product.
