The lineup

The tools you already know the names of.

Each app is named for the work it does, in the words drafters, modelers, estimators and detailers already use. Each app owns one layer color, the way a drawing set gives each discipline its own.

  • In development CadCraft, BimCraft
  • Planned ModelCraft, MarkupCraft, TakeoffCraft, CivilCraft, DetailCraft, PartCraft

What should we rebuild next?

Principles

Rules every app follows.

Six rules hold for every app in the lineup, the way one title block holds for every sheet in a set.

  • Open formats first

DWG, DXF, IFC, STEP, PDF and LandXML in and out. Your drawings never need us to open them.

  • Works offline

The desktop apps work on local files on your own disk, with no forced cloud. No sign-in and no license check to open a drawing or plot it.

  • Your muscle memory works

The commands, aliases, layouts and shortcuts you already use do what your hands expect. Productive in the first hour, not the first month.

  • Scriptable to the command line

Every app has a command-line interface, a JSON control channel and an MCP server, so scripts and AI agents can draft, check and plot alongside you.

  • Real desktop software

Compiled for macOS, Windows and Linux on a native geometry kernel, and built to run on an 8 GB laptop, not a workstation. Not a web page in a wrapper, and no browser engine bundled in.

  • Open source

Each app's code goes public under a permissive license when its repository opens. Read it, build it, change it.

In the browser too

WebAssembly builds are planned for most apps, for a quick look at a drawing on a machine you don't own. CivilCraft and DetailCraft start as desktop-only. Saving in the browser comes with a commercial license; drawings are stored encrypted in the cloud. You can always export a copy to your own computer.
