What is left from 0.6 and what comes next: every item that was not finished when 0.6 shipped moved here with its status, plus new requests. 0.6 itself keeps what was built.

Sanity checkDF.1e Link to DF.1e Won't open on Windows 11 ArtCraft’s

Our 0.4 installer on a clean Windows 11 VM, with and without WebView2. 0.4.1 bundles the runtime for the known case.

Studio Desktop host Planned in DF.1 Owner: Windows 11 VM run From: Discord community (Discord) 0.6-PART2 DF.1

FeatureBot obtainedDC.36 Link to DC.36 Studio’s shell: web view and Tauri, or fully native (GPUI, pure Rust)

Expresses disappointment that apps depend on Tauri and web components, questioning performance viability.

FeatureUPDATES Link to UPDATES Turn on Studio auto-updates

The updater is built but off: it needs your update signing key, a release feed, and decision 10 (checks on by default?). a Discord member asked on Discord. -- We'll allow Studio settings to have on by default and checkmark can be turned off; Will need a "check for updates" - report current and latest version. Discord CSV 2026-10-21: Before it turns on: D7.54 (three updater bugs found 2026-10-21 — the What's new card nags with updates off, the feed lists only Windows x64, errors read as “network”).

FeatureBot obtainedDC.27 Link to DC.27 Files that merge cleanly: stable order, fixed IDs, CRDT-style Live

Proposes using automatic merge principles from version control systems to handle concurrent editing when changes affect distant parts of a document.

CadCraftStudio App code Candidate – – From: Discord community (Discord) Discord #suggest-a-craft, Oct 13, 2026
FeatureMCP-WINDOW-IDS Link to MCP-WINDOW-IDS Studio: window ids that survive a restart

The window id from windows_list is the window's label for this run, so it changes after every restart and an assistant's saved id stops working. Give windows a stable id (for example from the file), or let assistants pick a window by file.

FeatureD7.05 Link to D7.05 Move dialogs freely; pop a dialog out to its own window in Studio ArtCraft’s

Asked: drag dialog boxes to a second monitor; they are trapped in the app window (#cadcraft Oct 21). Checked 2026-10-21: the same holds for ours. Dialogs are in-page <dialog> elements (showModal) with no drag; only side panels can go to their own window (app-panels.js). Do: every dialog draggable by its title bar (position remembered per dialog); in Studio, long-lived dialogs (Plot, Layers, Properties-style managers) can open as their own window like panels do.

FeatureD7.20 Link to D7.20 Print straight to a printer from Studio; PNG and SVG plots ArtCraft’s

Asked: detect installed printers; only print-to-file offered (#cadcraft Oct 19). Related DC.14. Checked 2026-10-21: ours plots only a vector PDF (download or open in the browser's viewer, which can print). A browser can't list printers; Studio can. Do: in Studio, Plot › Printer lists the system's printers and sends the PDF with paper size and copies; in the browser, a Print button that opens the system print dialog on the plotted PDF. Also PNG and SVG plot output.

FeatureD7.31 Link to D7.31 Drawing history: versions on every save, browse and compare ArtCraft’s

Asked: snapshot on every save and a visual diff against an older revision; a reviewer suggested a browse panel like Fusion 360 (3 mentions, #cadcraft Oct 19, 21). Related DC.27. Checked 2026-10-21: autosave in ours is crash recovery only; cloud drawings already keep versions on the server (drawing_versions, /api/v1/sync/versions) with no UI; Compare covers styles, layers and settings, not geometry; drawing compare exists only in MarkupCraft (PDF sets). Do: a History panel (cloud versions + local snapshots kept on save in Studio), open or restore a version, and DWGCOMPARE-style geometry compare (added / removed / changed, coloured).

CadCraftStudio Candidate 3 – Discord CSV pasted by the owner 2026-10-21
PlatformD7.53 Link to D7.53 Studio for Windows without installing (portable zip)

Asked: a portable, no-install Windows build (#SolidCraft Oct 18). Checked 2026-10-21: Studio is NSIS (per user, no admin) plus an MSI on CI; no portable build. Do: a zip with the exe and data kept beside it (portable flag), the fixed WebView2 runtime inside, no updater; on /download under the installer.

Studio Candidate 1 – Discord CSV pasted by the owner 2026-10-21
FixD7.54 Link to D7.54 Studio updater: no nagging, every platform in the feed, clear errors ArtCraft’s

Asked: the updater fails when a release has no asset for this platform; it still nags with updates off; show Open instead of Update (5 mentions about ArtCraft's launcher and SolidCraft, #SolidCraft Oct 17, #technical-development Oct 18, #craft-apps Oct 21). Checked 2026-10-21 — real in ours: (a) the hub sets updateReady whenever the build has a feed, not when a newer version exists, so the dismissed What's new card returns at every start, even with updates off (hub.js); (b) the feed has only windows-x86_64 (build.mjs), so any other platform with a feed gets “target not found”, reported as “network:” (updates.rs); (c) the hub reads r.message from a plain-string result, so every check shows the generic text. Fix all three before UPDATES turns on.

FixD7.57 Link to D7.57 Studio on Linux: guard against the WebKitGTK black window ArtCraft’s

Asked: black screen on start on Linux after an update (2 mentions, #cadcraft Oct 18, 21; about ArtCraft's app). Checked 2026-10-21: ours has no guard for the known WebKitGTK blank window (NVIDIA, Wayland); nothing sets WEBKIT_DISABLE_DMABUF_RENDERER. Also: the .deb/AppImage are named on the site but neither build.mjs nor a CI workflow builds them — find or add the Linux build. Do: set the variable before Tauri starts when it isn't set, a Linux CI job, and a clean-VM check (WIN-CLEAN-style community test).

Studio Planned 0.5 – Discord CSV pasted by the owner 2026-10-21
Site opsD7.59 Link to D7.59 Attach sample files to a bug report or suggestion ArtCraft’s

Asked: a bug-report form that takes DWG/DXF/LSP, not just pictures (2 mentions, #cadcraft Oct 18). Related DISCORD-ASK. Checked 2026-10-21: our suggest, roadmap-suggest and contact forms take no files. Do: up to 3 files (DWG, DXF, LSP, PDF, IFC, PNG/JPG; 50 MB) on the support and roadmap forms, stored privately (B2, outside the web root), visible to staff only, deleted after 90 days; the form says who sees them.

Studio Candidate 1.5 – Discord CSV pasted by the owner 2026-10-21
FeatureD7.62 Link to D7.62 More interface languages from volunteers (Vietnamese, Russian, Portuguese, Italian, Armenian)

Asked: an Armenian translation; a Vietnamese tester offered; Russian, Portuguese, Spanish and Italian users in the channels (6 mentions, #technical-development Oct 18; #cadcraft Oct 17–21). Related WL.7, ES-MX, LG.4. Checked 2026-10-21: we ship English, Spanish (Mexico, draft) and Indonesian (draft) everywhere, Arabic in CadCraft and PartCraft. Do: a contributor translation kit (string export, a checker for missing keys, the draft label) and invite the Vietnamese volunteer first; each language ships as a draft until a native review (owner picks which).
