FeatureD7.35 Link to D7.35 CivilCraft: spiral curves and fuller corridor assemblies

Asked: a Civil 3D alternative (2 mentions, #craft-apps Oct 17, 20). Checked 2026-10-21: CivilCraft already covers most of the Civil 3D list (TIN surfaces, alignments, profiles, corridors, pipe networks, drainage, grading, parcels, mass-haul, sections, LandXML, plan/profile sheets). The gaps that stand out: alignments have no spirals (alignment.js), corridors have one simple symmetric assembly (no curb, gutter, sidewalk; corridor.js). Do: clothoid spirals (LandXML in/out), an assembly editor with curb, gutter, sidewalk and daylight subassemblies, different left/right. LC.16 covers networks. Owner 2026-10-22: roads and railroads were discussed; rail is CV.1. Order together.

CivilCraft Built 4 – Discord CSV pasted by the owner 2026-10-21
FeatureD7.62 Link to D7.62 More interface languages from volunteers (Vietnamese, Russian, Portuguese, Italian, Armenian)

Asked: an Armenian translation; a Vietnamese tester offered; Russian, Portuguese, Spanish and Italian users in the channels (6 mentions, #technical-development Oct 18; #cadcraft Oct 17–21). Related WL.7, ES-MX, LG.4. Checked 2026-10-21: we ship English, Spanish (Mexico, draft) and Indonesian (draft) everywhere, Arabic in CadCraft and PartCraft. Do: a contributor translation kit (string export, a checker for missing keys, the draft label) and invite the Vietnamese volunteer first; each language ships as a draft until a native review (owner picks which). Suggestions 2026-10-22: Asked again on /suggest (#881, Oct 20): a full Portuguese (Portugal and Brazil) interface for every app and tool. A pt-BR draft exists in dev (2026-10-22); pt-PT does not. Owner 2026-10-22: Portuguese is planned as SU.881 (pt-BR kept complete + pt-PT). Owner 2026-10-25: built in 0.7. Studio's hub has 23 interface language files (incl. Vietnamese, Russian, Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal) and Italian); Armenian is not among them.

Power lines (Track PL) 13
FeaturePL.1 Link to PL.1 Power lines: your own libraries of cables, supports, equipment and trench types

Libraries the user makes (owner request from Discord: nothing proprietary, nothing tied to one country): overhead conductors, bundled and underground cables, poles and towers, crossarms, insulators, fittings, transformers, cabinets, joints; categories and sub-categories of their own; required fields per kind; JSON and CSV in and out; a small starter library computed by us. From D8.1 (Discord, a Discord member). Owner 2026-10-24: everything asked goes in 0.7; plan docs/0.7-PART8.md.

CivilCraft Built 1 – From: Discord community (Discord) Discord, pasted by the owner
FeaturePL.2 Link to PL.2 Power lines: overhead route on plan and profile

CivilCraft Built 0.8 – From: Discord community (Discord) Discord, pasted by the owner
FeaturePL.10 Link to PL.10 CivilCraft: measure distances, areas and heights on the plan and the profiles

A Measure tool for the whole app (CivilCraft had none): distance and running total along clicked points, area of a closed shape, and on the line profile the height and horizontal distance between two points. Snaps to supports, line ends and points. From the requester's first try of the lab build (Discord, a Discord member, 2026-10-24). Owner 2026-10-24: in 0.7.

CivilCraft Built 0.5 – From: Discord community (Discord) Discord, pasted by the owner
FeaturePL.11 Link to PL.11 Power lines: landscape items as obstacles under overhead lines

Trees (mature height and spread from the plant list), walls, structures and other raised hardscape from the Landscape workspace count as obstacles with a clearance rule, are checked along every span and show in the line profile where a span crosses them. From the requester's first try of the lab build (Discord, a Discord member, 2026-10-24). Owner 2026-10-24: in 0.7.

CivilCraft Built 0.5 – From: Discord community (Discord) Discord, pasted by the owner
FeaturePL.12 Link to PL.12 Power lines: underground crossings with a clearance rule, shown in the profile

Crossings between underground cables, CivilCraft pipes and other cables use a clearance rule picked from the rule set (not only the trench type's own number); crossings of an overhead line with underground cables and pipes show in its profile. From the requester's first try of the lab build (Discord, a Discord member, 2026-10-24). Owner 2026-10-24: in 0.7.

CivilCraft Built 0.4 – From: Discord community (Discord) Discord, pasted by the owner
FeaturePL.13 Link to PL.13 Power lines: clearance rules easy to find

Your own clearance rules already exist (Load cases and limits › Clearances); a "Clearance rules…" button beside every Clearance rule select opens them. From the requester's first try of the lab build (Discord, a Discord member, 2026-10-24). Owner 2026-10-24: in 0.7.

CivilCraft Built 0.1 – From: Discord community (Discord) Discord, pasted by the owner
FeaturePL.14 Link to PL.14 Power lines: rule sets and libraries per country, as files to share

A rule set (load cases, limits, clearances, spacing) saved and opened as its own file; a country pack = a rule set + a library, shared as a community add-on, each marked "example: check against your standard". Nothing tied to one country is built in. From the requester's first try of the lab build (Discord, a Discord member, 2026-10-24). Owner 2026-10-24: in 0.7.

CivilCraft Built 0.6 – From: Discord community (Discord) Discord, pasted by the owner
Workspace layouts (Track WS) 24
FeatureWS.19 Link to WS.19 Toolbox layout: a navigator on the right (project browser, Properties under it)

The toolbox and info box layout puts the app's project browser on the right as its navigator (plans, sections, elevations, 3D views, schedules, sheets), with Properties and the right panel's own tabs under it. A view opens from it as in the classic layout. Asked on Discord (2026-10-24) by two members. Plan docs/0.7-PART9.md; log docs/0.7-sessions/workspace-layouts.md § Discord ask.

FeatureWS.20 Link to WS.20 Info box: the picked element's main fields

With something picked, the info box shows its main settings (type, thickness, height, location line…) as small fields you change in place. Each is a twin of the app's own Properties field, so a change goes the same way and is one undo step. Asked on Discord (2026-10-24) by two members. Plan docs/0.7-PART9.md; log docs/0.7-sessions/workspace-layouts.md § Discord ask.

FeatureWS.21 Link to WS.21 My tools: empty slots in the toolbox for your own most-used tools

Eight empty slots at the top of the toolbox. Click one to choose any tool or command of the app, right-click a tool and add it, or drag one in. Kept per app in this browser. Asked on Discord (2026-10-24) by two members. Plan docs/0.7-PART9.md; log docs/0.7-sessions/workspace-layouts.md § Discord ask.

FeatureWS.22 Link to WS.22 Edit palette by the pointer when something is picked

Click an element in the drawing and a small palette comes by the pointer with the app's edit commands for it (move, copy, rotate, mirror, offset, stretch, duplicate, delete — whichever the app has) and Properties. Esc, the wheel or another click puts it away. Asked on Discord (2026-10-24) by two members. Plan docs/0.7-PART9.md; log docs/0.7-sessions/workspace-layouts.md § Discord ask.

FeatureWS.24 Link to WS.24 Work environments: save your whole setup and switch

Settings › Global › Layout › Work environments: save the layout, menu style and keys, toolbar style, panels and My tools of every app together under a name, switch between setups, and export or import one as a .ccenv.json file. The theme and the language stay as they are. Asked on Discord (2026-10-24) by two members. Plan docs/0.7-PART9.md; log docs/0.7-sessions/workspace-layouts.md § Discord ask.

CadCraftBimCraftModelCraftMarkupCraftTakeoffCraftCivilCraftDetailCraftPartCraft App shell Built 1 – From: Discord community (Discord) Discord 2026-10-24 (owner: add to 0.7)
FeatureWS.25 Link to WS.25 Arrange your own layout: choose which panel shows which editor

Settings › Global › Layout › Arrange your own layout…: put the project browser, Properties or the panel's own content in the left or right panel, the toolbox left, right or nowhere, a ribbon or the toolbar, and pick the info box's and quick bar's controls, view tabs, the edit palette and the look. Only what the app has is offered; the result is saved as your own layout and works in every app. Asked on Discord (2026-10-24) by two members. Plan docs/0.7-PART9.md; log docs/0.7-sessions/workspace-layouts.md § Discord ask.
