FeatureLC.1 Link to LC.1 Site concept

Covers Forma Site Design and InfraWorks. Masses on a real site from CivilCraft’s GIS and terrain; sun hours and shadows, facade daylight, zoning envelope, street view; masses handed to BimCraft. Spike first. Owner 2026-10-23: go. The site-concept spike (docs/spikes/LC.1_site-concept.md) ran the slice end to end; build in 0.7: masses on a parcel, zoning envelope, sun hours and shadows, street view, hand-over to BimCraft with its georeference. Facade daylight is not included. Session massing (W3.21).

FeatureD7.35 Link to D7.35 CivilCraft: spiral curves and fuller corridor assemblies

Asked: a Civil 3D alternative (2 mentions, #craft-apps Oct 17, 20). Checked 2026-10-21: CivilCraft already covers most of the Civil 3D list (TIN surfaces, alignments, profiles, corridors, pipe networks, drainage, grading, parcels, mass-haul, sections, LandXML, plan/profile sheets). The gaps that stand out: alignments have no spirals (alignment.js), corridors have one simple symmetric assembly (no curb, gutter, sidewalk; corridor.js). Do: clothoid spirals (LandXML in/out), an assembly editor with curb, gutter, sidewalk and daylight subassemblies, different left/right. LC.16 covers networks. Owner 2026-10-22: roads and railroads were discussed; rail is CV.1. Order together.

FeatureD7.62 Link to D7.62 More interface languages from volunteers (Vietnamese, Russian, Portuguese, Italian, Armenian)

Asked: an Armenian translation; a Vietnamese tester offered; Russian, Portuguese, Spanish and Italian users in the channels (6 mentions, #technical-development Oct 18; #cadcraft Oct 17–21). Related WL.7, ES-MX, LG.4. Checked 2026-10-21: we ship English, Spanish (Mexico, draft) and Indonesian (draft) everywhere, Arabic in CadCraft and PartCraft. Do: a contributor translation kit (string export, a checker for missing keys, the draft label) and invite the Vietnamese volunteer first; each language ships as a draft until a native review (owner picks which). Suggestions 2026-10-22: Asked again on /suggest (#881, Oct 20): a full Portuguese (Portugal and Brazil) interface for every app and tool. A pt-BR draft exists in dev (2026-10-22); pt-PT does not. Owner 2026-10-22: Portuguese is planned as SU.881 (pt-BR kept complete + pt-PT). Owner 2026-10-25: built in 0.7. Studio's hub has 23 interface language files (incl. Vietnamese, Russian, Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal) and Italian); Armenian is not among them.

FeatureSU.881 Link to SU.881 Portuguese in 0.7: Brazilian Portuguese kept complete, and Portugal Portuguese

Asked: a full Portuguese (Portugal and Brazil) interface for every app, tool, menu and workflow, for newcomers and professionals who work better in their own language (#881, Oct 20). Owner 2026-10-22: "do Portuguese". Checked 2026-10-22: pt-BR is a finished draft in all 16 scopes (docs/lang-sessions/pt-BR.md; gap fill for bimcraft and modelcraft the same day). There is no pt-PT, and a pt-PT file would fall back to pt then English, never to pt-BR, so it has to be a whole file. Do: (a) pt-PT by the docs/LANGUAGES.md routine — glossary tools/lang/glossary/pt-PT.md with a pt-BR column, as es-ES has es-MX (ficheiro, ecrã, guardar, eliminar, utilizador, pré-visualização; the AO90 spelling; Portuguese NP / EN drafting terms), every scope translated from the English with pt-BR as a reference, never a word swap; (b) pt-BR kept at 0 missing / 0 stale until 0.7 closes, after each session's What's new strings land; (c) both say "Draft translation, not yet reviewed by a native speaker" until a native reviewer reads them (owner item); (d) the language picker lists both by their own names.

FeatureUNITS Link to UNITS Units of measure in every app: many more units, each on or off in Settings, starred default

Owner, 2026-10-22: many more units in every app (CivilCraft will use them most), and a Settings section where each unit is turned on or off for the dropdown lists, with a star for the default. One shared table, lib/units/ (canonical, copied byte for byte into each app by a sync script, like lib/shapes), in place of the five separate lists in cadcraft, civilcraft, markupcraft, modelcraft and takeoffcraft units.js (bimcraft, detailcraft and partcraft have none). Exact factors; the international foot and the US survey foot stay two different units. - Length: nm, µm, mm, cm, dm, m, dam, hm, km; mil (thou), in, ft, ft-in, US survey ft, yd, rod, link, chain, furlong, mile, US survey mile, nautical mile, fathom; point and pica for sheets. - Area: mm², cm², m², are, hectare, km²; in², ft², yd², square (100 ft², roofing), rood, acre, sq mi. - Volume: mm³, cm³, mL, L, m³; in³, ft³, yd³ (CY), US gallon, imperial gallon, board foot, acre-foot. - Angle and slope: degrees, deg-min-sec, gons (grads), radians; percent, H:V, rise:run. Settings › General › Units (the shell's, so every app gets it): one list per kind; each unit has an on/off switch and a star. Every unit dropdown shows only the units turned on, and the starred one is the default for new drawings, measures and items. The settings never change a file: a drawing or project keeps its own unit (DWG $INSUNITS, a CivilCraft project's ft / m / US survey ft), and a unit the file uses shows in its dropdown even when turned off. Typed values take any unit's mark (3 ac, 2.5 mi, 400 nm, 12'6"). Build on bimcraft PR #4 (yisraelk, closes GH.3): its toolbar selector and model-units.js (six units, getDisplayUnits/setDisplayUnits, localStorage bimcraft.model.units) become BimCraft's use of the shared table and Settings list; keep the work and credit, carry the saved choice over. Words in en, es-MX and id. Tests: each conversion against its legal definition, parse ↔ format round trips, the copies byte-identical.

Landscape design (Track LD) 7
FeatureLD.2 Link to LD.2 Planting tools: plants, beds, hedges, plant schedule

Do: place plants at planting or mature size, fill a bed at spacing with a mix by percent, hedge along a line, trees that sit on the terrain and follow regrading, labels from table fields, plant schedule (CSV/XLSX, to TakeoffCraft). IFC site elements with properties.

BimCraftCivilCraft Built 5 session landscape (wave 3, owner pick) From: owner (Owner) docs/0.7-PART7.md; email to support@ 2026-10-22
FeatureLD.3 Link to LD.3 Parametric grading: pads, swales, berms, slope analysis, ponding

Asked: parametric grading (owner, 2026-10-22; proposer a, terrain modelling). CivilCraft already has TIN surfaces, grading, feature lines, corridors and mass haul. Do: a simpler front end on them (no second engine): pad, platform, swale, berm, slope to a target gradient, draggable spot levels and contours, existing and proposed surfaces apart, live cut/fill, slope colouring with limits, flow arrows and ponding.

BimCraftCivilCraft Built 6 session landscape (wave 3, owner pick) From: owner (Owner) docs/0.7-PART7.md; email to support@ 2026-10-22
FeatureLD.4 Link to LD.4 Hardscape that follows terrain: paving, paths, walls, kerbs, ramps, steps

Asked by the proposer (b): parametric paving, paths, retaining and freestanding walls, kerbs, ramps, stairs and steps that follow or modify terrain. Do: objects that regenerate when the terrain or the line moves, layered materials, ramp gradient checked, IFC out with quantities.

BimCraftCivilCraft Built 7 session landscape (wave 3, owner pick) From: owner (Owner) docs/0.7-PART7.md; email to support@ 2026-10-22
FeatureLD.5 Link to LD.5 Irrigation design: zones, heads, drip, pipes, hydraulics

Asked: irrigation tools (owner, 2026-10-22; proposer e). CivilCraft/BimCraft pipe networks exist; no heads, zones or hydraulics. Do: zones, generic head and emitter types (rotor, spray, drip, bubbler; users add their own), coverage and overlap, valves, laterals and mainline, Hazen-Williams pressure loss and flow per zone, schedule and bill of materials, known-answer tests. A calculation aid; an irrigation designer checks it. Owner 2026-10-22: lives in CivilCraft, not a ninth app. Heads: generic types first; branded data only with permission (LD.10).

PlatformWS.18 Link to WS.18 Workspace engine follow-up: 11 gaps

The shared layout engine's gaps the seven app sessions found (ws-closing.md § The engine gaps): the registry's own reason for a hidden button, toolbox groups by their shown names, the toolbox redrawn when the app's groups change, a canvas sized between the blocks, the drawing area's bars and their menus over the toolbox column, the toolbar hiding with the bars, pressed tools lit in the ribbon / quick bar / view bar, a steady info-box height, a file that opens as views, the language checker's false alarm, and a busy guard on switching layouts. Each fix has a conformance check; app workarounds the fixes make redundant were removed where that was a small change. The six apps without the compute probe get it (or a light probe) and send the same report under the same switch. Plan docs/0.7-PART9.md; log docs/0.7-sessions/workspace-layouts.md.
