CadCraft 0.7 impact map

What is left from 0.6 and what comes next: every item that was not finished when 0.6 shipped moved here with its status, plus new requests. 0.6 itself keeps what was built.

Every fix and feature

Grouped by track. App chips carry each app’s layer colour; Studio is in ink. "Waits on" names what has to happen first; the small lines under it say who asked and where the item is written up.

Landscape design (Track LD) 7
Sanity checkLD.9 Link to LD.9 Landscape: help, tests, sample garden, translations

Do: help topics, a how-to, a showcase garden file built once, Node and browser tests, es-MX, id, pt-BR and pt-PT strings.

BimCraft families 1
Sanity checkBIM-FAM-SOLID Link to BIM-FAM-SOLID BimCraft families: make them solid

Owner 2026-10-22: families go in 0.7, and 0.7 makes them solid. DC.114 (0.6) built families on IFC types: editor, formulas, Booleans, duplicate, save as IFC / .ccfamily.json (docs/apps/bimcraft-families.md; 118 + 42 checks). It has had no use by anyone but its builder yet. Do: (a) use it like a new user for a day: make a door, a window, a cabinet and a table family from nothing, place 50 of each, change sizes, undo and redo through all of it, save, close, reopen; every snag fixed or filed; (b) break it on purpose: huge or empty recipes, cyclic and wrong formulas, a family file from an untrusted source (limits, names, expressions), a family deleted while placed, two people editing the same family in Live; (c) round trip: IFC2X3 and IFC4 saved and reopened in BimCraft, and the families listed as plain types by another reader (cc-ifc, IfcOpenShell if it is on hand; the hand check with other BIM programs waits on the owner, DISCORD-ASK); (d) speed: a model with 2,000 placed family elements, a family with 100 solids, a size change that redraws everything; record the numbers with uptime; (e) keyboard, screen reader and phone use of the editor dialog; (f) es-MX and id strings complete; help topics families and family-editor re-read against what the app does. Known-answer tests for every fix. Owner 2026-10-22: the bar is "just like Archicad": if an Archicad user places, stretches and edits an object and it behaves as they expect (BIM-FAM-MORE has the detail), ours must too. In the day of use, (a) do it with the same small house as SU.461.

Workspace layouts (Track WS) 24
Sanity checkWS.7 Link to WS.7 Conformance test: every app's layouts keep the same 12 rules

bin/test-app-workspaces.mjs checks the contract in docs/0.7-PART9.md (classic default, no flash, our engine, panels, toolbar styles, tear-off, look, language widths, files, keys, words, no errors) for both layouts, in English, Spanish and Indonesian. Plan docs/0.7-PART9.md; log docs/0.7-sessions/workspace-layouts.md.

Sanity checkWS.15 Link to WS.15 Workspace layouts: all eight checked, help, release note, translations

The conformance test over all eight apps in turn, a help topic per layout, the release note with a Tested section, Indonesian drafts, a screenshot grid of every app in every layout. Plan docs/0.7-PART9.md; log docs/0.7-sessions/workspace-layouts.md.

Sanity checkBIM-TESTS-PRE Link to BIM-TESTS-PRE BimCraft: browser tests failing before 2026-10-24

browser-edit (3), browser-views2 (4), browser-res (1, electrical) fail with the pre-merge build too; bin/test-app-panels.mjs has an outdated Settings check. Plan docs/0.7-PART9.md; log docs/0.7-sessions/workspace-layouts.md.
