  • Planned 0 on the plan for the release it is filed under
  • Built 297 built and working in /lab (the dev builds). Whether the public has it is its reach: "in the lab", "Live" (the last gate) or "switched off"; see docs/REACH-LIVE.md
  • Partly built 0 part of it is built in /lab; the rest waits (see "Waits on")
  • Promised 0 the live site already says it is coming
  • Moved 0 moved here from an earlier release or wishlist
  • Found 0 bug found after a release shipped; fixed in a point release or the next one
  • Candidate 0 recommended in a spike or session log; owner to choose
  • Community please test 0 built and in /use; a Discord post gives the steps and the expected result and asks people to try it on their own devices, files or know-how
  • Decision Time 0 a decision, check, file, key, flag or go only you can give; folds into the list once answered

Built means built and working in the lab. Live means the public can use it, and is the last gate: 293 Built · Live, 4 Built · in the lab.

Sanity checkSU.1061 Link to SU.1061 Older Macs and browsers: say what the oldest supported system is

Asked: a version for older operating systems such as macOS Sierra, so old computers that still work can draw (#1061, Oct 26). Do: find the real floor today for each way to run the apps (web edition: oldest Safari / Chrome / Firefox that runs the apps and WebGL; Studio on macOS, Windows 10, Linux), state it on /download and in the help, and list what a person on something older can still do (the web edition in a current browser, or older releases). No promise of a build for systems the web view no longer supports.

FeatureSU.1035 Link to SU.1035 Cabinet and millwork add-on: boxes from a drawing to cut list, nest, G-code and labels

Asked: draw cabinets (DWG based), print reports and generate G-code for the CNC with printed labels (#1035, Oct 25). Related: window builder (#874), CAM/CAD (#875, #886). The parts exist: product configurators (LC.14), nesting with offcuts (LC.17, SU.755), CAM posts (LC.15), labels. Missing: the cabinet itself. Do: an add-on with cabinet boxes (base, wall, tall; doors, drawers, shelves) drawn from a plan in CadCraft, a cut list and edge-banding report, nesting onto sheets, G-code per sheet, a label per part. Owner decides whether it is an add-on we build (DEC-10).

FeatureSU.932 Link to SU.932 CadCraft: bearings typed like N45°23'30"E

Asked: type a line by bearing in degrees, minutes and seconds, e.g. 20 m at N45°23'E, to lay out lots (#932, Oct 23). Today CivilCraft’s traverse reads bearings; the CadCraft command line does not. Do: quadrant-bearing input (N/S d°m's"E/W, also d-m-s and decimals) wherever a direction is asked (LINE at a direction, polar, DIST), a BEARING display option on the status line and in the Properties panel, and a setting for angle format (decimal / DMS / surveyor).

FeatureSU.912 Link to SU.912 CadCraft: classes and design layers, viewports with their own class visibility, publish a set to PDF and DWG

Asked: Vectorworks-style 2D organisation: design layers say where an element belongs, classes say what it is and how it looks; one true-scale drawing, several viewports at different scales each with its own class visibility and graphic overrides; one tool to publish the whole set to PDF and DWG (#912, Oct 22). Also #933 (Vectorworks’ 2D tools, too expensive, Oct 23) and #930/#1055. Checked 2026-10-26: sheet sets already number, title and publish layouts from many drawings as one PDF (sheetset.js). Missing: classes as a second axis next to layers, per-viewport class overrides, and DWG out in the same batch. Owner decides how far from AutoCAD’s layer model this goes.

CadCraft Built · Live 9 session sx-classes: all steps in /lab, not released (owner: O2 + O3/O4 defaults, hand checks — docs/0.8-sessions/sx-classes.md) From: site suggestion (Suggestion) docs/0.8-PART2.md (Track SX), from /admin/suggestions 2026-10-27
FeatureSU.915 Link to SU.915 Tags: your own tag fields on elements that feed schedules

Asked: a tagging system for the relational requirements of an architectural project, connected to outputs for schedules (#915, Oct 22). Today BimCraft reads and writes IFC property sets and builds schedules from them. Missing: a way to define your own tag (name, type, allowed values), put it on elements in bulk, and use it in schedule columns, filters and groups. Owner chooses between property sets as the model and a lighter tag layer.

FeatureSU.766 Link to SU.766 Entertainment lighting plots: fixtures on positions, numbering, instrument schedule, channel hookup

Asked: entertainment lighting plots, mainly 2D (fixture symbols, rigging plots), 3D later; the usual program costs about £1,620 a year with no way to own it (#766, Oct 17). Moved here from LC.11 on 2026-10-27 (LC.11 is animation and production tracking). Do: fixtures as blocks with attributes (unit, channel, address, purpose, colour, wattage) hung on pipes/truss positions, auto-numbering along a position, instrument schedule and channel hookup (CSV/XLSX), an open symbol pack drawn by us, a legend; classes from SU.912.

FeatureSU.874 Link to SU.874 Window and door builder for PVC and aluminium profile systems: cutting list, bar optimisation, glass sizes

Asked: a PVC and aluminium window builder (#874, Oct 20). Do: profile systems as data (frame, sash, mullion, bead with deductions), a window from an opening and its divisions, angle cut list, 1D bar optimisation on stock lengths, glass sizes, reinforcement and hardware list, labels through the shared lib/cutlist, elevation drawn. Profile data ours or from makers with permission.

FeatureSU.892 Link to SU.892 Electrical add-on: wire harnesses and control-cabinet wiring

Asked: electrical CAD, harnessing, piping and instrumentation for factory design (#892, Oct 21). P&ID is LC.5's `pid` add-on (built 0.7). Do: wires with ids, colours and gauges between device terminals; a harness drawing with bundles, branches and lengths; wire list and connector tables; a cabinet panel layout with DIN rails and ducts.

FeatureSU.883 Link to SU.883 Text to diagram: Mermaid, PlantUML, D2 or a from-to list drawn as an editable CAD diagram

Asked (Japanese, #883, Oct 20): draw system, wiring and piping diagrams from Mermaid, PlantUML or D2 text or from-to data; later by language through MCP. Do: CadCraft pastes Mermaid flowcharts, a PlantUML subset, D2, or a from-to CSV and lays out blocks and orthogonal connectors (editable after); the same as an MCP tool `diagram_from_text` (Track AS); single-line and piping lists use the Electrical and `pid` symbols.

SpikeSU.752 Link to SU.752 Spike: view GDSII chip layouts in CadCraft

Asked: an open alternative to the IC mask design tools (#752, Oct 16). Not a new app (owner can overrule). Spike: read the GDSII stream format (open, documented) into CadCraft as layers for viewing and measuring; no simulation; write up what an editor would take.
