  • Planned 0 on the plan for the release it is filed under
  • Built 297 built and working in /lab (the dev builds). Whether the public has it is its reach: "in the lab", "Live" (the last gate) or "switched off"; see docs/REACH-LIVE.md
  • Partly built 0 part of it is built in /lab; the rest waits (see "Waits on")
  • Promised 0 the live site already says it is coming
  • Moved 0 moved here from an earlier release or wishlist
  • Found 0 bug found after a release shipped; fixed in a point release or the next one
  • Candidate 0 recommended in a spike or session log; owner to choose
  • Community please test 0 built and in /use; a Discord post gives the steps and the expected result and asks people to try it on their own devices, files or know-how
  • Decision Time 0 a decision, check, file, key, flag or go only you can give; folds into the list once answered

Built means built and working in the lab. Live means the public can use it, and is the last gate: 293 Built · Live, 4 Built · in the lab.

Every fix and feature

Grouped by track. App chips carry each app’s layer colour; Studio is in ink. "Waits on" names what has to happen first; the small lines under it say who asked and where the item is written up.

DecisionDEC-9 Link to DEC-9 Wishlist for the other apps

Which WL items outside BimCraft and CivilCraft become must-haves (the recommended six are in use).

CadCraftBimCraftCivilCraftPartCraft App code Built · Live – Closed as moot 2026-10-30: WL.8-18, WL.29-33 and WL.35-36 were all built in 0.5; only WL.34 (examples repo layout) is open and has its own row. From: asked of the owner by: 0.5-PLAN decision 9 (Session) 0.5-PLAN decision 9
DecisionLIB-CATS Link to LIB-CATS Mechanical and steel categories

Add mechanical/parts and structural/steel, and whether common steel sizes become library items. Suggestions 2026-10-26: Asked on /suggest (#961, Oct 24): standard profile, sprocket and similar parts by norm, as AutoCAD Mechanical has them.

CadCraftDetailCraftPartCraft Site and services Built · Live – Nothing. Full steel tables stay in the apps pickers. From: asked of the owner by: parts-shapes (Session) parts-shapes
DecisionIP-NAMES Link to IP-NAMES Input style names

Per-app style names, missing family members, PartCraft orbit, single-letter keys in the Civil and Steel ribbons.

DecisionNEST-CAD-PATH Link to NEST-CAD-PATH Nest CadCraft outlines through PartCraft, or add a CadCraft nesting add-on?

Decided for now: CadCraft outlines are nested in PartCraft through DXF. A Nesting add-on inside CadCraft would be a new build. Keep it as is, or ask for the add-on.

CadCraftPartCraft Built · Live – Nothing: built and tested. Other languages show English until translated. From: session lc-make (Session) lc-make session report
DecisionPU-DEFAULTS Link to PU-DEFAULTS PartCraft usability: five defaults chosen for now

Taken by the session under rule 9 until you say otherwise: (1) faint planes cannot be clicked; (2) Dimension as you draw is on for existing users too, because new users cannot be told apart; (3) a typed line angle other than 0, 90, 180 or 270 sets the direction but is not dimensioned; (4) Cut into it starts at half the part’s thickness; (5) there is no drag handle on Through all ends or on values an equation drives. All are in the session log’s For the owner section.

PartCraft Built · Live – Nothing. From: session part-usability (Session) part-usability session report
DecisionEG.25 Link to EG.25 PCB design: our own board editor, or stay at the KiCad hand-off?

Schematic capture and PCB layout would open a non-building market. KiCad is GPL, so no fork (see OLD-GPL); a board editor would be clean-room. Or keep SU.897 (KiCad boards into PartCraft for enclosures) as the whole answer. Owner's review list 2026-10-27 (duplicates removed). Plan docs/0.8-PART5.md.

DecisionEG.53 Link to EG.53 AI inside the apps: trained models and OCR, or assistants only?

Today AI comes from the person's own assistant (MCP), and the 0.7 trace rule is no trained model, no network. Reading old drawings' notes (OCR), phone scans to MEP and sketch recognition would need trained models. Keep the rule, allow local models, or allow a service? Owner's second list 2026-10-27 (duplicates removed). Plan docs/0.8-PART5.md § Second list.
