  • Planned 0 on the plan for the release it is filed under
  • Built 297 built and working in /lab (the dev builds). Whether the public has it is its reach: "in the lab", "Live" (the last gate) or "switched off"; see docs/REACH-LIVE.md
  • Partly built 0 part of it is built in /lab; the rest waits (see "Waits on")
  • Promised 0 the live site already says it is coming
  • Moved 0 moved here from an earlier release or wishlist
  • Found 0 bug found after a release shipped; fixed in a point release or the next one
  • Candidate 0 recommended in a spike or session log; owner to choose
  • Community please test 0 built and in /use; a Discord post gives the steps and the expected result and asks people to try it on their own devices, files or know-how
  • Decision Time 0 a decision, check, file, key, flag or go only you can give; folds into the list once answered

Built means built and working in the lab. Live means the public can use it, and is the last gate: 293 Built · Live, 4 Built · in the lab.

FeatureGH.3-B Link to GH.3-B Display modes beside the view cube; Plan / Split / 3D in the shared toolbar

Shaded, edges and wireframe next to the view cube. Plan, Split and 3D as buttons in the shared toolbar row (today they are commands with keys, and the plan already has a draggable splitter). Part of GH.3 (GitHub getcadcraft/bimcraft#3). Owner approved 2026-10-29; scheduled for 0.9.

FeatureGH.3-E Link to GH.3-E TJI floor framing: spacing, direction, series and depth from the span

Preliminary TJI layout: spacing, direction, series and depth picked from the span, load assumptions stated on the drawing. The manufacturer's tables are loaded by the person (we cannot ship them); the output stays preliminary layout guidance. Part of GH.3 (GitHub getcadcraft/bimcraft#3). Owner approved 2026-10-29; scheduled for 0.9.

FeatureBot obtainedGH.1 Link to GH.1 UI/UX: Top ribbon wraps into excessive vertical pile, lacks AutoCAD-style display modes and layer density control

### Problem Description On standard desktop and laptop resolutions (e.g. 1080p, 1440x900, 1366x768), the top ribbon toolbar (`.cc-tools`) wrapped all tool groups (`File`, `Draw`, `Modify`, `Annotate`, `Parametric`, `Blocks`, `Sheets`, `Edit`, `View`) into 3–5 stacked rows. - This consumed significant vertical space, drastically shrinking the active model drafting canvas. - There was no mechanism to cycle the ribbon to compact states (e.g., small symbols, labels-only, or hidden) familiar to users coming from AutoCAD (`Ctrl+F1`). - There was no user control over ribbon row/layer density (e.g., choosing 1 row, 2 rows, or fluid wrapping). --- ### Diagnosis & Root Cause 1. **Unconstrained Multi-Line Flex Wrapping**: In `app/cadcraft.css`, `.cc-tools` was declared with `flex-wrap: wrap` without horizontal overflow scrolling or height constraints. All 9 tool groups stacked vertically whenever the viewport was narrower than ~2500px. 2. **Absence of Display Mode States & Hotkeys**: No data attribute or state machine existed to toggle between AutoCAD-like ribbon display modes (`full`, `symbols`, `text`, `hidden`), nor a dedicated cycler button or `Ctrl+F1` keyboard shortcut. 3. **Absence of Row Configuration**: Users drafting on different monitor aspect ratios had no setting to lock the ribbon to a single row (preserving maximum canvas height) or 2 rows. 4. **Initial Implementation Regressions Identified**: - **Temporal Dead Zone (TDZ) ReferenceError**: In `app/cadcraft.js`, referencing `ribbonRowsState` within the `settingsDlg` initialization before its `let` declaration caused an uncaught `ReferenceError`. This aborted script execution prior to canvas pointer lis… Opened on GitHub by a Discord member: https://github.com/getcadcraft/cadcraft/issues/1 Discord CSV 2026-10-21: Asked again on Discord (Oct 17–20): icon + label toolbars, a Windows-style layout.
