Are you a student? SuperCad Studio is free.
Learn on the same tools you will use at work. Every one of the eight CadCraft apps is already free for everyone, and students also get SuperCad Studio, the eight apps working as one, free for as long as they are in school.
How it works

Step 1
Apply with your school email
Fill in the form below with the email your school gave you, your school and the year you expect to finish. An email ending in .edu is typically all the proof we need. No school email, or yours does not end in .edu? Say so in the note and we will ask for another proof that you are enrolled.

Step 2
Click the link we email you
We email a link to the address you gave. Click it to verify your email. With a school address the license is issued the moment you click, and you land on the page where you download SuperCad Studio. Sign in with that same email to get it. Another kind of address? A person on the CadCraft team checks your school and emails your license. Your account also gets a Community Edition License automatically, for students and teachers alike. It is 100% free, for life, and stays with you after you leave school.

Step 3
Stay a student, stay free
Once a year we email you a short check. Click "Yep, still a student" and your license stays active for another year. That is the whole renewal.
If you miss the yearly check
If you don't answer the check email within 45 days, your license goes stale. SuperCad Studio keeps working on your computer, and so does every version you could download while you were covered; what stops is new versions (and the browser edition, which is always the newest). Ask for a new check email at any time and you are back on every upgrade, or move to a graduate license (below). Your files are yours either way.
We only check that you can still read your school email. We don't watch what you make or how you use the apps.
After you finish school
You don't lose your tools the day you graduate. SuperCad Studio will keep working and is yours. You choose when to keep getting upgrades: your student price carries you into your first job, then you join the regular track.

While you are a student
Free
Free upgrades: every new version of SuperCad Studio, at no cost. Your license stays active as long as you can still read your email. Once a year we send you a short check email; click "Yep, still a student" and you are set for another year.

Optional step 2
Anytime after you finish school
$75
The SuperCad Studio you have installed keeps working, for good: you just stop getting new versions. To get them again, buy a graduate license for 30% of the regular $250 price. It includes 2 years of free upgrades.

Optional step 3
Anytime after your upgrade period
$125
Want the upgrades to keep coming? 50% of the regular price buys the normal 3 years of upgrades.

Optional step 4
From then on
$150
You are on the regular license track: 3 more years of upgrades for 60% of the regular price, the same as every SuperCad Studio owner.
Your prices are locked in the day you join. If we raise prices later, your path stays at these numbers (and if prices ever go down, you get the lower one). Prices are per seat, in US dollars, against the regular SuperCad Studio price of $250 a seat, once. A SuperCad Studio license is perpetual: the version you have keeps working whether or not you buy more upgrades.
Teaching with CadCraft?
The eight apps are free and open source, so a class can start today on any computer, in the browser or with CadCraft Studio. No lab licenses to buy and nothing to renew each term.
We are setting up classroom licenses for SuperCad Studio. If you teach drafting, architecture, mechanical design, civil engineering or anything else the apps cover, apply below and choose "I teach". Tell us about your course and how many students take it, and we will work with you directly.
