P&ID objects drawn from a built plant

Scales the P&ID symbols and lines of a plant built in millimeters to the drawing's units when they are drawn.

How the precision is kept

One factor is formed as a reciprocal and every coordinate and size is multiplied by it, in 64-bit numbers. The rest of this file passes the process model between the drawing and the shared process engine without changing numbers.

In detail

Method
k = 1 ÷ (the host's per-unit factor for millimeters); every x, y, symbol length, line scale and thickness × k.
Number types
64-bit numbers.
Limits
Multiplying by a reciprocal can differ from dividing by the factor in the last binary digit.

Approach: 64-bit, direct

Every value is a 64-bit number from input to result. Formulas are closed form or a direct solve, and every comparison uses a stated tolerance.
