Industries

Start with the work. Find the tools.

A building, a site, a machined part and a process plant do not share the same deliverables. They can still use a common foundation for geometry, data, documentation and checks.

Buildings

Architecture and construction

Move from concept and building elements toward sections, sheets, review and takeoff. See where model information already travels and where it must be checked.

Land

Civil and infrastructure

Bring surfaces, alignments, grading and pipe networks into a project narrative with plans and quantities.

Products

Mechanical and manufacturing

Use parametric sketches and assemblies to get parts into drawings and exchange formats. Manufacturing execution and CAM require separate validation.

Plants

Industrial and process

Connect P&IDs, equipment, 3D routing and calculations as a roadmap direction. Full live-model consistency is still under development.

In the apps

Illustration of the four industries, buildings, land, products and plants, each with the four tasks its page walks through and the CadCraft app that does each task, above the eight apps marked with the industries they appear in; the process plant column is marked roadmap direction and its one-living-model task as an objective not built yet.
Illustration, not an app screenshot. Process and plant work is a roadmap direction.

Field packs are a delivery mechanism

The 0.8 map proposes an installable field-pack format. A field pack being listed does not mean a one-click pack is already available.
