Animate a manual
Key the parts (place, shown or hidden, opacity, colour) and the camera at a time, record the steps of an exploded view, play the views one after another, then play it here or save a video.
Written for PartCraft 0.7. The same help is inside the app: press F1.
Open the Animation section:
- Key everything, Key the selected parts and Key the camera store how things are now at the current time: each part's place, whether it is shown, its opacity and colour, and the camera. Change the scene, move the Time slider, key again: the animation goes from one key to the next.
- Record the exploded view adds one key per step of the scene's exploded view, a second a step, after what is there.
- Views as camera stops plays the views in order: the camera moves to each, holds it, and the parts take each view's looks.
Play, Pause, Stop and Loop play it in the view; the keys of each part and the camera are listed (click a key to go to its time). Save video writes WebM or MP4 (where the browser can encode it) or the frames as PNG pictures in a ZIP.
The animation is kept in the same format ModelCraft's Animate workspace uses. Its curve editor and clips are ModelCraft's for now.
