The parts list and balloons
Balloon numbers are given once and never reused. Balloon every part a view shows in one click, show the parts list in a view filtered to its parts, choose its columns, and save it as CSV.
Written for PartCraft 0.7. The same help is inside the app: press F1.
The Parts list section lists the parts: one row per part with its quantity (copies of one part, and parts with the same part number and shape, are one row). List chooses the parts shown in this view (not hidden, not ghosted) or every part.
Balloons
Balloon the shown parts gives each row a number (the next free one) and puts one balloon on the copy nearest you, on a ring round the model. Drag a balloon to move it. A number stays with its part: when parts are added later they get new numbers, and a number is never given to another part, even after its part is removed.
In the view, and as CSV
Tick Show the parts list in this view to place the table in the picture (drag it to a corner). Choose its Columns (the part's own properties are offered too) and whether it lists the parts of this view or every part. Save as CSV writes the list for a spreadsheet; text that starts like a formula is written so a spreadsheet does not run it.
