Scroll through pages, or one page at a time
See a PDF's pages one under the other and scroll through them, or keep one page on screen at a time. Switch whenever you like.
Written for MarkupCraft 0.8. The same help is inside the app: press F1.
MarkupCraft shows a PDF in two ways. Switch between them with Scroll pages on the sheet bar, under the sheet.
Scroll pages
The pages of the PDF are one under the other, like a document.
- The mouse wheel scrolls through them. ⇧Shift with the wheel scrolls sideways. ⌃Ctrl with the wheel zooms, and so does a pinch on a trackpad.
- The page in the middle of the screen is the open sheet: the sheet bar, Properties, the sheets list and the markups list follow it as you scroll.
- Click or start drawing on any page you see, and you mark up that page. Markups on the other pages show as you scroll.
- fn ↓Page Down and fn ↑Page Up scroll to the next and previous page.
- In a workspace layout with tabs, each PDF gets one tab, and its pages scroll inside it.
One page at a time
Only the open page is on screen. fn ↓Page Down, fn ↑Page Up and the sheets list go from page to page, and each page keeps its own zoom. In a workspace layout with tabs, each page you open gets a tab.
Good to know
- MarkupCraft remembers your choice in this browser.
- With several PDFs open, Scroll pages shows the pages of one PDF at a time: the one the open sheet belongs to. Pick a sheet of another PDF (or its tab) to scroll through that one.
- Comparing two sheets always shows one page at a time; Scroll pages comes back when you stop comparing.
- Turning the view (the turn buttons on the sheet bar) turns every page in the column.
