Pin voice notes and decisions on a sheet
Record a short voice note, or write down a decision and what it replaces, and keep it pinned on the plan.
Written for MarkupCraft 0.8. The same help is inside the app: press F1.
Both are notes on the sheet, so they show in the Markups list, in the thread and in other PDF programs as sticky notes.
A voice note
- Show the sheet and open the Notes tab.
- Choose Record a voice note. The browser asks to use the microphone the first time.
- Choose Stop recording. Recordings stop by themselves at two minutes.
The note is pinned at the centre of the sheet: drag it where it belongs, and type a caption in Properties. Play in the list plays it. The recording is saved inside the PDF.
This is recording only. MarkupCraft does not turn speech into text, and neither does an assistant connected through the tools: it can see that a voice note exists, how long it is, who made it and its caption, but it cannot hear it. Type the words that matter into the caption.
A decision
Choose Pin a decision, write it in a sentence or two and choose Pin it. If it replaces an earlier decision, pick that one in It replaces: the old one stays on the sheet, marked Replaced, and points to the new one. One undo step takes it back.
