Change dimension text size
Make dimension text bigger or smaller, for new dimensions and for the ones already in the drawing.
Written for CadCraft 0.6.1. The same help is inside the app: press F1.
For the dimensions you make next
- Press EscEsc so nothing is selected: the right panel reads Current settings.
- Under New dimensions, type the height you want on paper in Text height (for example
2.5for 2.5 mm, or3/32") and press ReturnEnter. - Set Overall scale to the plot scale (
50for 1:50,48for 1/4" = 1'-0"): every size is multiplied by it.
On the command line, DIMTXT sets the height and DIMSCALE the overall scale.
For dimensions already in the drawing
- Select the dimensions (one, or several of them: pick Dimension in the list at the top of Properties).
- Type the new Text height, or a new Overall scale, and press ReturnEnter.
They redraw at once, in one undo step. A dimension from another program's file is redrawn in CadCraft's style as soon as you change it.
See Set dimension sizes, decimals and scale for every setting.
